And I thought we had it rough here in Southern Calif. Just last week we had a 1/4" of
rain and got the streets all wet. What a mess. I am not ready to move yet however. Happy Holidays to all:bye: 8) |

Thanks Dawg, it's long gone now. They are forecasting "snowflurries" tonight. I remember several years ago, the meteoroligist for our TV news gave the same forecast, just a few snowflurries. The next day was very embarrased when he had to report on the 12 + inches of snowflurries...
Thanks Pagerboy, I too like a little snow, however can't control the amount. We generally have been either getting "snowed under" or just a dusting in a year. No happy medium. Thank you Smiles, a snowblower would have helped, however a tractor with a blade would really have helped. I rent this house, which is surrounded by farm ground. A local farmer rents the farm ground, and the fuel tank, and pole barn seen in pic #2, (off to the right of the round bin). I never block his access, however wait till spring. I'm going to park every piece of junk I have in his way :X This guy saw me shoveling snow, he had a small tractor with a front loader parked across the road. I watched as he fired up his tractor and drove it away, didn't offer to push the snow out of my (our) drive, which he has to use to get to his big 4wd Ford tractors parked in the pole barn.. |

The first picture is superb, looking like some effect given on that pic.
Thanks for posting. |

Thanks FB..
It looks like an effect has been added, however the image was just resized, nothing more. I was surprised that it turned out that well. I was expecting a blur, because I was going burrrrrr. It was only about -10 F when I took that pic.. Thank you IndianGuy.. |

Beautiful pictures! But I think you better get yourself a Kubota tractor with either a blade or snow blower. My driveway is 600 ft. long and the tractor mounted snowblower has rescued me more than once. The snow blower is better than a blade because it will throw the snow 20 or more ft. away from the drive and then the wind won't blow it back into the opened space like a blade will.
Good luck and keep taking those good pictures! DX6490 owner |

Oh I just love the first photo! Beautiful! We, thankfully, haven't really had any snow this season (and I am NOT complaining! lol)
