I'm curious if other people, with different models of Kodakcameras, are having the same problem. Do you occassionally have dust spots in your pictures? People have said it's because the internal flash is so bright, and close to the lens. I think that is a bad answer. I have used a lot of point & shoot film cameras, and never had this problem!

I hope Kodak comes out with some new technology to fix this problem. I just want a digital camera that works indoors, without worrying about dust spots.

My DX7440 does the same thing. It really is annoying when it happens so frequently. I recently took some indoor shots of a stage show, and out of 43 shots, more than half of them had "dust" marks showing. Many of them had been ruined because of it. Pretty bad hit rate. I also found that the flash range is pretty usless if you are not quite close to your subject. Thanks for this post; I can stop wondering what these marks are.
