To me it appears slightly over exposed. If your looking for stop action you will need to up the shutter speed a bunch. Maybe try 1/1000 or more, and it seems the feeder is more in focus than the hummer. Try spot focus.
Practice, practice, practice.

Good looking photo. I see a bit of over exposure, so a little Exposure Compensation should do the trick. The I would crop the photo, if possible, to put the emphasis on the humming bird. For an early attempt with the Z--950, you did a great job. Sarah Joyce |
