I've had a Kodak Z1012 IS for years now and recently I've dived more into photography of all sorts, especially nature. Lake nearby is a hot spot for eagles. Unfortunately the camera's built in lens/zoom isn't strong enough for distance shots. It's hard to get near eagles, they fly off haha. After stalking this thread in the Kodak section, I narrowed down the parts I needed to upgrade for distance shots. Thanks to sw2cam and dancheng, I bought an
Olympus Tcon 17 telecon lens, a Bower adapter tube, and a Fotodiox 52mm-55mm step up ring. Cant wait to get some much improved distance photos, now I wont have to wear camo and try to sneak up on eagles
