Hi gang, I've got a dx7590 and I really like it for most things. Love the 10x optical zoom. But I'm now wanting something smaller, easier to carry and maybe slip into a pocket. I went to Tijuana a couple weeks ago and left my 7590 in the hotel because I didn't want it stolen.

I've been looking around and have come across the C433, a 4mp with a 3x optical zoom, priced at 79.99 and no tax or shipping from Dell. If this got stolen it wouldn't be a huge loss.

I want something for close work and something to easily carry. When I want really good shots I'll use the 7590.

How do ya'all like this c433? Does the c433 use the same USB cable as the 7590, anyone know? That would be a big help.

I have bought C433 for my mother in law. I had a problem with connecting it to PC with Windows98SE. My mother-in-law bought a SD 1GB carda and a card reader and the problem was solved.

Nice pics.
Good movie.
Easy to use.

It has no optical viewfinder, only LCD.
The alkaline batteries which came with the camera expired for 20-30 shots (with flash). For sure you will need NiMH batteries.
There is not spot focus.
I could not find a way to save the settings with spot metering.
There is not continuous shooting.
It has no quality steps for the shooting, you can change only the size (4.1, 3.0, 2.1, 1.3, etc).
Connection problem (see above).

For the price and just a pocket camera, you can't beat it. I have two on layaway at walmart, one for my sister and one for my mother-in-law. It's a great little camera at an AMAZING price.
