I'm looking at buying the Easyshare DX6340 but am a bit confused about how the battery works. If you dont get the dock does this mean that the batteries have to be taken out of the camera to charge them? If so how long does this take? I thought you would just be able to charge them by plugging the camera into the mains without usig the dock but the more i read the less sure i am.
any help would be greatly appreciated thanks |

Hi
Forget plugging the camera into the mains, unless you buy the dock. The idea is to have two sets of rechargeable batteries and a charger, one set can be charging while another set can be used in your camera, the time it takes to charge a set of batteries depends on what type of charger you are using, anything between 3 and 15 hours is common. Regards Dave Downunder. |

I purchased this camera ( which comes with a non-rechargable battery as standard ). The first thing I did after buying it was to get myself a couple of pairs of Ni-MH and a regular charger..
I wasn't such a fan of using only Kodak's system instead of normal and more readily available AA's... |
