Well Dawg - I took the bull by the horns so to speak. Stopped at our local Radio Shack yesterday and got the tube of lube. Worked up courage today to try it and voilla - it works. Thanks so much for the solution!! It was stubborn at first so I had to add a couple of drops - but I was so nervous that the drops were extremely tiny drops LOL! Works fine now. Thanks again.

Good to hearthe dropswork..........Nope just a boatdock. I'd buy another printer dock for that or double in a heart beat.

FLSal I so glad it worked out. Ive used mine with the lube on it in subfreezing weather and 90+ degree temps and so far have not had to add anymore to it! Really glad it worked and no thanks necessary. Everyone here likes to help. That's what we are all about. Like to see some more photo posts from you when you get the chance. That's the other thing everyone here likes. To kinda look over your shoulder and learn how you would do things. RJ, hope she likes the camera and the dock. I know I'll probably never get rid of my 6490 even when I step up to something else. It has been a pure joy to shoot with!
