Default Kodak LS443 vs Sony DSC-P9

Hey everyone! I was wondering what your thoughts were about the Kodak LS443 and the Sony DSC-P9. I am looking to get one of them for my cruise in January and whatever arises after that. I noticed the Sony is $100 more. Which one would you recommend? Thanks!! 8)

Default Which One????

I am looking at the same models as you but also included the Canon S230 in my "decision pack". The more I read, the more I get confused????? Any feedback would be great! Most of my pics will be of people and my prints will be 4x6" on a dye-sub printer.

Personally I would go with the Kodak LS443. I have been doing a lot of research on it and own a Kodak DC3400 right now of which I have been very impressed with. I bought a Canon Powershot S230 and ended up returning it because the pictures just weren't as clear as my old Kodak DC3400. Everything just seemed more blurry, especially backgrounds. Also Kodak utylizes the image sizing for making 4x6 prints, where as Sony and Canon do not. I find this odd, because all major digital camera companies do not utylize their cameras for this popular size print except Kodak and Olympus. I plan on purchasing the LS443 next weekend and will perhaps post more of my thoughts on the matter later.
