Im new here and need some assistance with a new lens i bought for my P880.

I recently bought a 52mm - 62mm Telephoto lens from ebay.

I screwed off the outer ring and attached my 52mm - 59mm lens adapter.

But when i attached the telephoto lens onto the adapter i got loads of vingentting at 24mm zoom.

So i bascially wanted to know did i buy the wrong lens adapter or is the telephoto lens the wrong size??

Here's some pictures of what i bought

Your auxiliary lens (none of this class lens, actually) is not intended for use at wide angle setting lens settings. If your not gettingvignetting close to or at max telephoto your getting all that can be expected. Essentially the lens serves no purpose at max wide angle as there is no need to convert 24mm equiv. to 48mm equiv. as the camera's own lens will cover that focal length.

Greetings Tronics,

The lens you have will do a great job once you move the camera lens to the point where the vignetting is gone. Since you have added more to the extensionyou will have this effect until the zoom is moved beyond that point. Since it is a 1.4 extension, you can do the math to find the point where this occurs, or simply move it to that extension visibly, the better option.

This is a noted condition.

Talk to you soon,
