Thank you for the tips Profk, although the wide angle seems nice, I have pretty much settled on the Canon SD600. I tried taking some shots with my P850 using the LCD and I'm just not able to take that loss. Especially with image shake, I feel like I'm losing all the benefits my Image Stabilization gives me, and these compacts don't have IS to begin with.

You can't go wrong with Canon. My old SD 320 and my wife's SD 400 have exceptionally sharp lenses and are super performers all around. Enjoy!
