I had my Kodak z612 for a while now, and recently an issue started to occur. When I take a picture the outcome is a poor quality picture with horizontal line streaks across the picture, then after a couple seconds the lines start to fade a bit, but when you zoom in on the photo or view it on the computer you could still see the lines streak across even more clearly. The outcome is very poor quality photographs, I was wondering what is the problem?

just an update: the photo shown has very light horizontal lines across the photo but the lines show up more on other photos.

JLphoto-
Welcome to the Forum. We're pleased that you dropped by. Unfortunately, due to age, the imager on your Z-612 is beginning to fail. That is a major repair expense, you would probably be money ahead purchasing a Kodak Z-915 which Target has on close out at $44. Sarah Joyce |

amazing thing is I kept trying to take photos with the camera and eventually the photos became nice and clear just like when it was new!
