:?Do any of you pro's have suggestions for settings for my Kodak ZD710 for taking pics of the moon? I tried to make all kinds of manual settings and just could not get it to focus right. Will it just not do night time moon/star pics? Its a new camera to me. Thank you for any suggestions.

If it has a manual or fixed 'infinity' setting, use that. The moon is a sunlit scene and should be shot accordingly; you can use the "Sunny 16 rule" as a start (shutter speed 1/your ISO at f/16, trade one against the other as necessary to stay within your lens' limits), while stars will require a time exposure.
