We're finally getting some much needed rain. However what generally accompanies the rain is lightning...
This first one, was actually one of the last ones I shot. Why you ask? Well notice the lightning bolts. The appear to be following a set of wires. Those wires are the guy wires securing my television antenna, and are only about 30 ft away from me. I know that lightning is very deceiving as to it's distance. However on my orginal image I zoomed in, and the lighting bolt closest to the wire appears to be between me and the wire. In other words if the image were layered in say Photoshop, the lightning would be on top of the wire... Too darn close... |

Yikes! That's really close! But great shots! I hope you'll send some rain up this way...my lawn feels like straw its so dry!

Storms last seen going North..:-) However today it was only 101, better then 109 last week..
