Bigdawg, congrats on 40 years of marriage.
![]() I bought a little Kodak C310 as a carry around pocket camera after I got my DSLR. It was too hard lugging the DSLR, lenses, and flash around all time. I gave my bulky DX3215 to my kids. I bet you can get some good beach bikini shots with your big telephoto lens. :G Happy shooting. |

Hey Dawg one more congrats. I went for Pentax K100D. I've gone through whole thread and I like the way you interacted with each and everyone. You are gem of a person again proven.
I loved the way you made your dream reality by saving money hard way. I did it too. My wife was against spending money on one more camera and after all DX6490 is still one of the best camera. But I shot first shot with my Pentax of hers. Here it is. http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s...D/IMGP0001.jpg Atindra |

Congratulations on the new camera Atindra. THAT IS A PRETTY PICTURE for sure. You appreciate things more if you have to earn it or do without to get it! I love the K10D. The first shots convinced me it is a great camera....Now to tame it to my use! LOL
Here are some shots of the lenses I've collected from Ebay purchases while waiting to get the K10D. These were taken with the DX6490. No way I'll get rid of it!! |

And here is a listing telling what they are. The 50mm f/2, the 135mm f/2.8, the 2X and 3X teleconverters (KM), the TCON17 and the Schneider wide angle lens I already had.

WOW! Nice kit dawg! Welcome to the darkside. Looks like I will be seeing quite a few Kodak-ers joining me in the Pentax DSLR forums now!
