thanks boily, i had a look at the specs, looks like a nice camera.
i had a dx6340 a year or so ago and that was excellent. now do i wait for a c875 or go for the canon a700 or the fuji f30 i have no idea how much the c875 will be here in the ukeither :? |

The 875 is on the shelves in the US. I have already played with one. They have an a** of feature for a compact camera. They have panostitching, custom and manual settings... Really nice, if I really felt the need to spend the same on my pocket camera as I did for my p850, then I would get one.

I am sure the camera will find its over the pond to the U.K. side so please don't hold your breath waiting or you eill turn blue like your shirt!!!!:G Look at your photo web site. Some nice pictures. What pano progtam are you using? I use auto stitch, a free program that is bi-directional (stitches horizontal and verticle. BiLL :| |

Best prices I found here in the states
Kodak c875--$265 Canon a700-- $319 The 8mp of the kodak vs canon's 6mp might encourage me to wait till you can try one Dan |

:Gthanks for the kind comments bill - i used autostitch too, not had much chance to do many pano's - something i enjoyed doing but keep forgetting to take some more!
and thanks dan for the price comparison, i can wait another few weeks i spose :sad: update: just seen the c875online at 2 uk stores (dixons and diigiuk)for around 180ukp, this compares to the canon a700 at around 200ukp ![]() |

A pano shot today at a local Salt Marsh Nature Center built by the city of New York from a place used to dump stolen cars that were also set on fire.
