With digital zoom it's unfortunately the camera.
The first shot looks fine to me, but in the second it looks like digital zoom was used - hence the artifacts. The best thing to do is switch off the digital zoom and get a bit closer. |

I agree - the digital zoom ruins the second shot.

I post a lot of pics,,,from photobucket,,,,,,anyone looking at a posted pic should be aware that most of the time it`s the website compressing the photo very hard,,,,
I got into this at dpreview last week,,,posted a pic and had a forumer look at it ,,he saw lots of artifacts,,,,i went to the full image on my computer,,,opened it with PSE2 and blew it up well past 100%,,,,there were no artifacts there,,,,but the posted pic was full of them.. So if you see a posted pic,,,and it`s full of artifacts,,,,it may just be the website host,,,and not the actual photo after all... Brian |

Full zoom can be used but its hard and a pain... Heres one I took no zoom and full... By no means am I steady yet...
