Here is what I have so far. Still need the thumb screw for mounting everything to the tripod.
The cable release holder will be pretty easy to take care of. |

Fossil if you look at the tapered end of that cable you will see some threads. They are tapered but will fit a 4mm nut. I drilled a #30 wire gauge hole and tapped it out with a M4X0.7 tap and my cable fits real good. That is the standard size of almost all cable releases! Here are the photos of the finised product! I'm showing it with the cable partially extended and locked in place. So far your's is looking great. Like the finish you are showing. Tells me you have a lot of hidden talents! How does it feel to you, the bracket I mean?

Thanks for the latest photo's dawg.
I have the #30 drill and a 4-tap but not a M4x0.7 Guess I need to run to the hardware store. Still struggling with the thumb screw for the tripod mount. Any luck with Mcmaster Carr? Thanks |

They have some but are somewhat pricey...$5.oo or so plus shipping.
style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"You can go to mcmastercarr.com and then search using Thumbnut as the key word. style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000" Dawg |
