![]() Hello, I'm supposed to be, getting a storm within the next few days. Anybody here know what settings to use to shoot lightning??? Use th TCON 17??? Help is Greatly Appreciated!!:-) shooting_rubber. |

First of all, don't zoom at all get the the more landscape and clouds you can!!
Then use the Manual mode and set the aperture to F2.8 to get clear shots... Use the slowest shutter speed possible depending of the condition (ideal 16sec) Put the iso at 50, you don't whant a lot of noise in your pictures !! Use a tripod to hold your camera ![]() And wait for the lightings, try, try and try again:-) Boily |

I was looking for these tips the other week... we had storm after storm... as soon as I got the tips offline... The storms stopped...
