Both my Z740 and Z1012is came with a USB cable so that's not the problem.
I have a drawer of USB cables of various types that I've collected over the years but none of them match. I have standard USB cables, mini-USB for my MP3 player and older external hard drives, and what I think is called micro-USB which is for my new external hard drive. So what the heck is the connector for the camera called? Thanks. |

Model U-8 usb cable! No name for the mini-usb connector, unique to Kodak I guess, that's why people complain if you check it on google. (Might like this: 8-Pin 0.45mm Mini USB Connector)

Thanks. Gotta love those proprietary connectors.
Funny thing is that my Bluetooth headset takes a connector for charging that looks allllmost the same except that on Kodak's cable's connector, the contacts are on the top and on the Bluetooth's cable the contacts are on the bottom. Last edited by Wiley-X; Oct 8, 2010 at 10:31 AM. |
