That last one especially -- looks as though you're at altitude, photgraphing the plane as it peels off.

Hope you got some of the Mustangs... a lot of firsts with that one - first to have composite (plastic) parts, first to have mag wheels, one of the first to use laminar flow airfoils to minimize drag, first to derive fuselage curves mathematically (the fairing from wing root to fuselage)... mathematically-derived drawings later became computer-aided design, much later... even for a while had swept wings duringdesign, but that was too radical (the ME-252 jet was the first to be built with swept wings)...

Amediocre performer until mated with the Rolls Royce Merlin engine. And it went from concept to production in 6 months and is to a large extent the work of one man, Dutch Kindelberger. Goering was quoted as saying that he knew WWII was over when he saw Mustangs flying over Berlin... 1300 mile range, Britain to Berlin and back.

(Sorry... My wife's uncle was a P-51 jockey, flying sometimes twice a day in '44 and '45, survived and went on to become a major insurance salesman... probably knew how to describe the odds to customers in ways they'd understand...)
