Weird scary clouds

Took these around 7am one morning this week on my way to work.They were the weirdest colours.I couldn't get the green ones as it started to rain..We had some wicked storms all week and I had to pull off the highway for 15 minutes because of the wind and rain..

These were before the grey solid one rolled in..it was really callm and quiet.

This one was the rain one..and did it rain..yikes!

Very nice shots, it needs something like a bolt of lightning to complete it.
I prefer the second shot as the tree adds a bit of foreground interest.

Thanks all!..and Cold Snail...for the bolt that i couldn't capture! There was a light show with it but I couldn't catch one because of the rain..now it's complete..lol. Mr.Blue this is becoming normal here lately..over the last few years they are now adding tornado warnings with our normal storm alerts.And there have been some touchdowns (not football type,either..lol).Our neighbouring province has really been besieged by ugly weather this summer so far..flooding..tornados..Near where I live they received 12" rain one day..it's a weird year.Take the last 24 hrs..yesterday in the earlier am it was 90 F and this am it is about 35F...don't like the weather?..wait five minutes it'll change..:-)

Great shots Lisa. I aggree with the others, the 1st is very creepy. The weather where you are sounds like the weather here in Rochester - we've run the gamut over the past 2 weeks from sunny and beautiful to rainy and nasty and most stuff in between.
