Well gee, I finally received my new camera and I was shipped a Z812 instead of a Z712 (the camera I ordered). The 812 is new (and under Kodak warranty) and seems to work perfectly. I have the option of keeping the 812 or returning it (probably at my expense) for the 712. I've read many positive reports on the 712 in this forum and very few comments (of any type) on the 812. Should I keep the 812 or return it??? Your opinion would be appreciated.

Rick-
That really is a tough call. The Z-812 was a pretty good/pretty average camera, while the Z-712 was an outstanding camera. IMO I would go for a NEW Z-712 in place of the Z-812. so - so camera. But, I could also be wrong, though I have been around here for a very long time. Sarah Joyce |
