Im trying to decide on which camera to buy my wife, she takes many different types of photos and I had it narrowed down to the Z981 but after much reading it seems like a lot of people like the Z980 better so should I go Z981 NEW or Z980 Manufacturer Refurbished,I'm always scared of refurbished but would be willing to buy if you guys think the camera is better. Thanks for any help you can give me,Chris

I have the z981, love it, take it with me Everywhere.
recently went to the salt flats and had a great time. it is easy to use, buttons are in a good place, not 'in menus' 14.2 is fantastic...um....just love it. it is the first kodak digital I have owned am not disappointed...nice clear pictures...oh, it has macro and super macro and that is great. nice big lcd, good viewfinder.... hmmmm, cons....hmmmm trying to think of any...oh, uses AA batteries. Still once charged they do give you a lot of pics. Keep to high amph batteries, strictly kodak ones. In a bind I use Duracell and they LAST. ![]() Last edited by lisalonewolf; Nov 1, 2010 at 8:37 PM.
