Does any one out there have a source for the batteries of the wonderful camera but woefully hard to find replacement batteries. I bought my dcs 760 used I think it's great but in trying to buy a second battery i"ve hit a brick wall.I know it's only a matter of time until this one bites the dust.

There's a seller on ebay named photogearfinder who sells them all the time - new 3rd party batteries. He sells them one or two at a time for around $89 for one, or $175 for 2 plus shipping. Those are new batteries.

Check ebay item #260041532232

You also might find used good tested batteries on ebay for < $50 from reliable vendors, but those are more risky. I've gotten a couple that were fine for that price.

You can try this made by ULTRALAST UL-CAT926.

It has a 2 year warranty, you can purchase them from

North Ameruican Battery company

2155 Paseo de las Americas #31,

San Diego, Ca 92154.

www. nabcorp.com.

They are about $50 each. Good Luck.
