Hey everyone, I want to start playing with RAW files... so can somebody tell me where to download the plug in and how to make it work with photoshop elements? (I need to move it into a specific folder, right?).

Also, I got a link to a freeware noise program

http://www.imagenomic.com/download.asp

Would that work the same way as the RAW one?

Morag.... You need to get used to using Google. A search on Adobe Camera Raw came up with:

http://www.adobe.com/support/downloa...jsp?ftpID=3364

Should be a Plug-in folder within the Photoshop Elements folder in C:\Program Files\AdobePhotoshop Elements . If there is already an older camera raw plugin file, rename it from Camera Raw.8bi to Camera Raw.8bi.BAK . Then copy and paste the new plug-in file into the same folder. There ya go.

If you can't find this directory, just do a Windows search for Camera Raw.8bi .

And read my post on Adobe Lighroom... does camera raw like you wouldn't believe!
