I've seen this issue coming up a bit, and I thought it would be nice if we kept a list of who was okay with having their photo's edited. I'll just update this first post and make a list. If you like this idea, post either to say it's okay to edit your shots or that you don't want anyone too. If you don't like this idea, don't post and the topic will eventually die:blah:

I would actually prefer asking first... Are you going to make a list of "NAY"s?

Even though I don't mind most times if mine are fooled with, I'd prefer someone asked first. Never hurts to be polite ya' know!

The few pics I post are intentionally mediocre and I prefer that they remain that way! LOL

I guess I know what you mean there FaciaBrut, all my pictures are scaled down below the size need for a background, let alone a good print, stamped with a copyright and then cut down to less than 50% quality jpeg compression:blah:

In truth, I don't like to post pictures of people, especially family and even more especially, children. As a person who lives on the internet as part of my occupation, I have a distrust of posting personal images for the world. Too many freaks out there and I don't want anyone to be in possession of my photos.

I also generally don't post any of the home pictures taken by myself or other emloyees of the company I work for (with a few exceptions). This is a professional ethics thing and is out of respect for our clients' privacy.

So... As for the few pictures of non-human subjects that I occassionally post....buildings, landscapes, animals... No problema, amigos! Feel free to edit away!
