NYC has a little of everything. As you drive into NYC from Brooklyn via the tunnel you go over the Gowanus Cannal which at times in the summer smelled like a broken urinal in Grand Central on New Years Eve!!!!

Now the cannal is supporting some shad and other sea life and all the dumpy ware houses have become hot realestate like Soho (South of Houston St in NYC) and Dumbo (Down under Manahatten Bridge).

At times the rangers at the salt marsh take people for a canoe ride in the marsh and talk about the marsh eco-system;

This was with a polarizer (I think)
