I'd say... keep it and just wait for the dslr..

I did my brothers wedding and I think the pictures came out pretty good
coming from the p850 and how bad the lighting was in the place.

I can't exchange the p850 for a dslr, because walmart carries no dslr's... so do I exchange it and get the 880 or do I keep the 850, either way... I will continue saving for the dslr...

Okay... talked to MtClimber and I am going to try my hardest to get money back instead of an exchange at walmart... if I can... I am going to try to find a consumer level dslr (pentax ds, nikon d50, or olympus e300/330)

HI THERE

YOU MAY NEED 8 MEGSWITH A COMPACT BUT A D50 WITH 6 MEGS WILL BEAT A 10 MEG COMPACT HANDS DOWN IN PICTURE QUALITY,
