Thanks guys. He was very nervous and unsure whether to run climb or hide so he did a little of all three. Last I saw of him he was heading for the woods. Lets all hope he makes out alright!

Cute little guy. Good set of pics. Did you ever have an angry mother racoon jump in a sleeping bag with you? It's not quite as much fun as a barrel full of monkeys (although I can't honestly say I've ever been in a barrel of of monkeys).

Thanks Ay and Brut. I agree Ay, there is something a little bit special about catching these photos out in a natural surrounding. I'm just lucky living in a spot on this earth where these things still happen! LOL Brut you'll have to tell us about that hair-raising adventure one day!LOLOL

Nice racoon pictures Dawg--they sure are an interesting animal.Some racoons can get up to around 40 pounds and I here that they will put up a hell of a fight. Andy
