Went back to salt marsh with the hope to see those 4 Egrets. Brought my big zoom anf T con to be totaly covered.

Despite the breeze the Butterfly Bushes were loaded with Monarchs.

Only one small Egret was there this time.

I decide to sleep till 9AM so when I arrived at the marsh the tide was high. I was listening to Ralph Snodsmith on the radio (Gardening talk show) and he spoke this being the time to winterize your garden ponds plus cover them with a net as this was the time that Egrets migrate south and like to make pit stops for fish people keep in their ponds. This being their migration time could be why I am seeing them at the marsh,

Walked around the bend for a more frontal view.

As you can tell ducks are not party animals depite the Egrets black stockings, yellow shoes andand a "lets dance look"

Good boid shots.

But the egret looks cold. Should probably be around Delaware by now.

A nice feather boa should take care of the chill.

The egret came out a bit washed out but Adobe Photo Elements 4 has the ability to darken high light thus the shot was saved from the bottomless trash can!

Nice Series Bill - I love the way the ducks in #3 are hiding their faces from the paparazzi !
