Great capture, I like the composition !!

After seing this picture, I want to take bird in flight pictures LOL :-)

I'm sure you would be good at this. But it can be difficult following them with a long lens. You have to keep the panning motion going during and after pressing the shutter.

The first shot of that flight didn't come out. I saw later that it was too dark. But I kept the panning motion even after the viewfinder blanked out so I would have them in frame for a second shot.

Don't know if that's the proper technique but I think it would have to be. Kinda like hitting a baseball. You 'follow through' the swing after hitting the ball to be certain you don't stop short.
