I was down in the harbor this afternoon and there was no activity at all. But wait till the weekend. Things will be hopping.

Nice, Sarah.

I'm wondering at the pointed caps on the posts. To keep large birds from perching?

domang-

Yes it is to keep large birds from perching, but also to keep the moisture out of the wood grain. We have a heavy dew every single night, because we are on the coast and that makes the piling last longer.
