Hi,

Does anyone can tell me what is the best SD card for a P880 :
80x
133x
ultra II
ultra III

Does a 133x or ultra III and III increase the performance of the P880 ?

barnumfr/Vincent-

If you are going to be shooting a lot of video clips or using the burst mode a lot 133X is the minimum to use. However, if you are just doing general shooting, purchase whichever SD chip/card is the cheapest.

I think I'll use the burst mode, not the video mode so I'll buy a 133x.

Do you know if the P880 can use the ultra II or ultra III and if the raw mode is qwicker with this kind of SD card

I Have a 1.0GB Ultra III for my P880 and this works just fine, I do find that it is quicker in the burst mode than my other cheap and cheerful costco SDcard that I have.

Hope this helps

Greetings,

I do not think that a fast card will make much difference with the exception of movie transfers. The write rate is going to be the same regardless of the speed of the card. For me, however, I think it is nice to have a faster card as you may use it for something else.

thanks fot all of those informations.
I think I'll bought a "KINGSTON SD High Speed Elite Pro - 1 Go" who have a good write rate (about 6.3Mo/s).

Regards,
Vincent
