Need a little help or at least some opinions.

With my P712, what is the best way to get close up shots of various insects, leaves, flowers, ect.

Should I just use the "flower" setting in the scene mode or is there a close up lens that I need.

Thanks in advance for the help/ideas.

FF and Red-

If you want to get closer than the minimum macro distance using the P-712, you will have to get a P-850 lens adapter (it fits the P-712), and then mount a close up lens/filter in the lens adapter, before taking your macro photo.

This set-up will allow you to get closer than the minimum macro distance,so that you can take greater than 1 to 1 photos of insects or small items. That way they will fill the full LCD image.

Thanks Sarah, I already have the lens adapter to use the UV, Polorizer, and Tcon17.

I think all I need now then is a close up lens/filter and I'm good to go.

I appreciate the info.
