HiI have a kodak P850 camera.*Have one problem with it. I find it is difficult to make a nice picture - in doors, without the lamp. I am trying to take nice pictures of my baby with no lamp. By default it will pop up the lamp, if I kill the lamp all the pics will be with my baby blurred since she moves so fast, it's hard to make it sharp. Very annoying. I tried different options, went to the manual and played with aparture and time, but still the same.Did anybody came across the same?Any solutions?Thanx for any help

  1. Use fast shutter speed [/*]
  2. High iso (around 200-250) [/*]
  3. Low aperture, F2.8[/*]
And you should get a nice picture.

If the picture is still too dark, use the flash :|

What Boily said with this note,,you can go even higher with the ISO but this will induce more pixel noise into the photo. The choice is yours whether or not the noise becomes objectionable!

An excuse to show off my latest grandson, Dylan, aged 2 weeks!

This was taken with my P850 set to macro focus.

Admittedly in a well lit room , not far from a window.

Before reducing the resolution to post the pic, it is very sharp.

Good luck with yours.
