A new house being built a ways down the street from us. The design is out of the ordinary and kind of interesting. Taken 9/30/06 camera 6490. Andy

Sure is a interesting-- and nice design. Now we know you don't live in a place were all the houses on the street look the same. :blah:

Very cool home... It's got a lot of character. Just out of curiosity (I'm a licensed real estate broker), what does a house like that sell for in your neck of the woods? A custom home like that, if built in the mountains just east of Albuquerque, would probably cost between $500,000 (US) and $750,000. Up in Taos or Santa Fe... one to two million.

FaciaBrut, I live on a strip of land that is like an island. Its a beach comunity and available property has gone way up in the last fifteen years or so. I am taking a rough guess and say somewhere in the million figure. A house a block and a half the other direction from us was up for one million six hundred thousand but the owner finally took it off the market. This was just an ordinary community of average income people when my wife and I bought our house down here 34 years ago. Now the upper income arechanging it around. Our house is very ordinary.Even so our neighbors are great. Andy
