I am considering trading in my CX-7530 for the V550 using Kodak's new trade in program.

Is this a good move or is it a lateral move? The specs appear to be near the same except that the V550 is newer (my 7530 is about 2-years old).

Thank you.

It is just my opinion, but I see it as more or less a lateral move. It works if you want a much smaller camera. However, it does not give you the advantages provided by IS or longer zoom. If IS and longer zoom are not personal priorities then the trade should work well.

I have a 7530 also, and I was just wondering how this trade in program works?
