Hey Dawg

Thats some first class mooning your doing down there in Thach, AL.

I bet if you had a longer lens you could find a fire hydrant on the moon:!:

Thanks to all! Boily I tried doing some PP on these but the info to work with was just not there. The moon here is just too white bright this go around. Brut I really wish I was getting that orange color for mine but it's just not there this go around. May be as it's waning it'll get some color! Bill I spotted a fire hydrantd but can't post it....It said made in Brooklyn and I don't post inferior products on the forum!! LOLOLOLOL Just kiddin' man. I've purchased quite a few new lenses for my new K10D Pentax(When little Dawg will let me buy it) And with some of those the moon shots will get much better!

What did you use to shoot it and what post processing if any was done? It is not bad but there is some blotching which looks either from cropping or digital enhancement. Not complaining or anything like that..Just curious as to how it was done. Pretty great focus lock if cropped.

It certainly brings it in close. Neat way to explore the moon without having to go there. I like it. One day I hope to do as well with just the camera. Ah well might as well wish for the moon...LOL

hi dawg

have a go at taking shots through a pair of binoculars ie aiming them at subject and then taking a picture through eyepiece! you can practice technique during daylight hours. you may well be surprised at results.

regards bob.
