Nice daytime moons Dawg. I thought I would mention a websitethat you or some of the people on this forum may find interesting. http://www.space.com/php/multimedia/imagegallery/ On page 2 is a catagory of moon shots that people have sent in although most are taken through telescopes though not all of them. No. 4 on the list is a jet flying across the face of the moon.I wish I could get that lucky .I have had a interest in astronomy a good deal of my lifetime and in 1976 I bought a Dynamax 6 Schmidt Cassegrain telescope followed the next year by a Meade 8 inch model 2080 Schmidt Cassegrain which was one of Meades first if not the first of there S.Cs. No computerization built in back then. Anyway I reluctently sold them acouple years ago. Anyway space.com has some interesting things on there website. Andy

Amazing details... It's really nice to see the moon against a blue sky for a change.

Thanks everyone! Andy..I was nearly that lucky this morning! I lined up the shot and set the timer then focused and hit the shutterbutton. As it started to time out I noticed a big jet flying right in fromt of the moon. The timer just took too long. the jet had flown by . LOL If it wasn't for bad luck I'd have none at all! LOL
