On the way home from the salt marsh I made a stop at Waldbaums supermarket.

A little black tray caught my eye and ended up in my wagon.

The tray contained 8 oz. of Baby Green Patty Pan Squash. Ech just a bit larger than $0.25. They looked like spinning tops from space.

I love squash and have seen Patty Pan Squash (looks like green UFO's)

Any easy preperations?

They are just perfect for photo manipulation too!

The squash are prettier at D'ags. Justt kidding.... Very cool shot. As far as preparation... why not batter dip 'em with I-Talian bread crumbs and fry 'em in a flavored olive oil?

I'm much better with green chile. What would Giada DeLaurentis do?
