I stopped at a farmers market in the rustic village of Corrales this afternoon. I took a few shots of the lifeblood of New Mexico... chile peppers. The sky was severely overcast when I shot these.

I only roast GREEN chiles... Can't eat a cheeseburger or pizza without the green chile. But I do hang a string of reds ("ristra") by the front door to bring good luck and keep the evil spirits away.
