This is prettty neat stuff, Dawg...I know what some of them are supposed to be, but I never know where to look...might have to try some star shootin

Dawg, I see you mention heavens above site. two things I really like are the ISS times for my location. The importent thing is to have a timepiece that keeps acurate time. The one I use is always on the second. If you have an accurate location programed for predictions you will find they are right on. You may want to try your hand at a 16 sec of the ISS going over and watch fora prediction that has a high alt listed. Unfortionately can not catch much trail. For a real treat if you have'nt already tried it is catch an Iridium flare. If you can catch a minus 6-7 or 8 you will be amazed if you have a dark sky location. They usually start brightening right on the predicted second of time. You may want to try taking a picture of one. Sorry about my spelling. I have been watching Iridium sats for years and the ISS also. I should have mentioned that the ISS can sometimes take around 3min so 16 secs cannot catch much trail. Andy
