Caught these guys when it was cool...like my car..it takes them awhile to warm up..:-)

Super nice shots, how close were you for #1 ?

I tried to take a few pictures of one of these birds yesterday and he kept flying everywhere and could stay still ...

I also really like the 2 dragon fly pictures, great focus !!

Did you used a tripod for these shots ?

Thnks for looking,Boily..:-)..my fine feathered friend was only about 4 feet away...he was especially tame.Even though I have two cats the chickadees here are unusually brazen and don't seem to frighten easily.The dragonflies were easy because they were still chilled from the night..so I just picked the leaf he was sunning on and held it at different angle while I took shots..no tripod but trust me I deleted many shots of blurred dragonfly..:lol:
