This isn't the shot I set out to get. The sunset was gorgeous but by the time I found a place to park the sun had gone down.

However, everything was so still I thought it might be worthwhile. I had hoped I might be able to photochop the pier on the left out but there is not enough good image to use for cloning.

Thanks, Red. I was afraid it would be too mundane, but I liked the calm and thepastel colors.

Ken, nice job on this one. I like the soft colors and the reflections.

Nothing wrong with that one Ken. Calm and serene! It brings out feelings and therefore touches something deep inside. Nice one!

Great shot Ken! I love the pinky-orange on the horizon and the way it reflects on the water.

Thanks Rags and everyone. Your comments help me understandwhy I liked such a simple picture. I'm my own worst critic of my prints because I usually don't think to take the time to pre-visualize the finished shot. Thanks
