I've been trying for awhile to get some good shots of the Iraqi sunrisesto share with ya'll that aren't going to get me into trouble. We had a beautiful photo op today and I got a few I'm really proud of. I know they're not great...but they're by far better than most of my other work.

The pole kind of annoyed me in this one..but I really liked the colors in the sky.

Thanks Dawg It's really hard to capture the sunrises here because they happen quick and usually we're inside for them. We just happened to be outside burning stuff today. I like the fact that in some of them you can make out the birds flying in the distance. :|

I noticed that in no. 2 & 3 but didn't know if it was birds or Blackhawks! LOL

Thanks Red I'm a little mehhh about the first picture...I touched them all up a bit in photoshop but that one is still a little soft for me. I was balancing on the back of a pick-up truck and holding the camera above me so it was hard to see. One thingI wish my P850 had is one of those extendable LCD screens so you can see what's going on when you have the camera in different positions. :roll:
