Default DX4330 Lenses

Greetings all. I currently have a new DX4330 to replace my DX3900 that I lost on a trip. However, I now have a bunch of 37mm lenses that have no "home".

Will the lens adapter available for the DX4330 allow me to use my old lenses? Or am I out of luck??

Hope to hear from you. Thanks.

Unfortunately you are out of luck at the moment.

There are no lens adapters available for the DX4330 (yet).

I have seen a lens adapter sold in catalogs for the DX4330 but I don't know if it is 37 mm.

Yup! Found it here: http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQueri...gory=EKN026201

But it says its a 37 to 43 mm adapter. Perhaps you don't need an adapter for 37 mm lenses after all because the camera has a thread around the lens.

I stand corrected - it came out since I last checked.

You do need the adapter though - as the lens assembley on the DX4330 sticks out from the front of the camera (so you cannot put a lens directly onto the camera without the adapter)

Thanks to all for your input! I managed to snag one from EBay.ca, so its all good. The neat thing is that not only will this DX4330 lens adapter accept my original 37mm lenses, but it has a step-up adapter to accect 43mm lenses too!! Very cool.

For the meantime, my 37mm lenses will do just fine. Thanks again to all who responded.

Happy shooting. (pictures, I mean)
