Feliz Navidad to New Mexico and to all Merry Cristmas, if that is acceptable.

This is a pano made up of five shots with very little overlap. I was surprised that the program was able to stitch the frames together instantly. I expected it would have problems with so little graphic data to work with.

This is my first attempt after the"fireworks" setting didn't work out as I had hoped.

res 230; 1 sec.; ISO 400; f/8.0; focal length 9.4

My next try will probably be at a tighter f stop.

A lower F/stop would pick up more light. Nice enough as is to me. Looks the way I'd see it if I were there!

Ditto what Dawg said... I'm totally night blind. Good job with the pano.

And saying Merry Christmas is acceptable. My kids are half-Jewish so Happy Hannukah too!

Thanks Dawg. I was thinking along the lines of f/11 or 16. I find that f/8 is the upper limit of this camera. Bummer.

Thanks foryour observation faciabrut. I sometimes find that Political Correctness in some areas can be overdone. I would hope we could lighten up a little and live and let live. Enough said!!

PS. It just occured to me that I don't really know for sure what the last line really says. I hope I didn't just flip someone off!! LOL

Very nice pano!

And on the topic of political correctness. I would like to let everyone know that "christmas tree" is deeply offensive and should be changed to "holiday plant"! Better not offend anyone, haha!:blah:

Merry Christmas to you all!

Thanks Morag2.

Living just a stone's throw from Vancouver and Victoria, BC, we know that Canuks are not easily offended.

Just a little cross-border banter.
