I purchased my Kodak V603 this summer and all worked well. had it on vacation and aftera night of many photos and camera being on a table (could have been dropped) the next morning when turned on the LCD screen is all blurry and looks as if there is a crack (not an actual one but on the screen) on a portion of the camera. Camera still works fine except for that feature. I removed back panel and saw no evidence of cracking, etc. Query - is this a repairable (at a reas. cost ) feature or do i bite the bullet and just buy another.

I know I could still use it but it is impossible to tell if u got a good shot in current status.

THANX!!

The camera has a 1 year warranty - send it to Kodak.

Greetings Dzzy,

Yes, the V603 (I like that model) is repairable.

If the camera is OK and has not been damaged, dropped, water, etc., it would be repaired under warranty. If the engineers find such damage, however, the warranty would be void.

You can call Kodak at 800 235-6325 or use their web site at:

http://www.kodak.com/go/itg

Just add in your information and you will be given the information you need about sending it in for service.

Talk to you soon,

Ron Baird

Thank you so much. Unfortunately, it was one of those nights where it could have been dropped by somebody and I would not have known about it. Guess I will send it in and see. Thanx again for the advice!!
