Naaah...You'd like it better with both of them...I know that when I buy the K10D in a couple of months the DX6490 will still have a place!

Hi Dan,

Sorry to hear about the trouble.

Contact me and let me know details. I may be able to help. I have seen a lot of scenarios and people that have had water damage, physical damage and more and never been aware of it till it was noticed.

Putting the camera down on a table where water is spilled for example can wick up in the connection port to cause moisture damage. If the camera is picked up and wiped off, you would never know it. Same thing if the camera is knocked off a table or other resting place and returned to its original position. Likely never notice till later.

Regardless, getting the ring off was good.

Talk to you soon.

Fred, no one claims any knowledge of this. They all now say they didn't even touch the camera!! So, I think the only reasonable thing to do is execute them all. I've formulated many plans so far, but am still open to suggestions

If this were CSI NY Horatio would have checked the camera for DNA traces. Check for the DNA for you and the borrowers and the crime would be resolved in less than a N.Y. hour.

There is a guy, Vincent D'Onofrio, on Law & Order Criminal Intent that tilts his head allmost to the ground.

Dan have you thought of calling for a family reunion in the local gym? You could burn it down around them!! Or do some shotgun visits at 3:00 AM.

Not bad ideas, Dawg...and no matter what you hear, it was just coincidence that we got 30" of snow last week and I wasn't around to plow their driveway
