I took this picture on november 20th this year and it is now february 2d and there is a foot of ice covering the Duluth harbor. This picture shows a small part of the harbor with 2 swans and a duck and 4 canada geese taking off. dx 6490 camera. andy 74

I still can't understand how they can swim in the cold water!! BRRR Unusual to get all three types in one photo Andy!! Way to go!

Thank you Sarah. We are having a real cold spell right now. I believe Duluth got down to around 20 below last nite and I think the wind chill was around 35 to 40 below and we are due for another 3 or 4 days of the same. I should have stayed in California were I went in the early 50s. andy 74

Ya I know what you mean Greg, I would hate to have them let loose on me when they fly over.It happend to one of my daughters years ago when she was siting in our back yard and the words that came out of her mouth were not pretty. andy 74
